I have always polished my collector and everyday cars with water glass to keep them looking new. I am an experienced liquid glass user with 25 years of experience. Now, if you contact the makers of this product, they will swear up and down that this product is NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT water glass reformulated to meet California specifications. However, it comes in the same packaging, just upgraded slightly (cooler font and newer Corvette.) And they changed the name from Liquid Glass to Finish First. It's the same consistency and aqua blue color as our favorite liquid glass - you know, like Crest's liquid toothpaste. It also has the same polyresin smell that only water glass had. You know, it's not tortoiseshell wax! Like Liquid Glass, Finish First also absorbs into the applicator. This new product dries to the same haze and time as LG and polishes exactly like LG. Yes, it's Liquid Glass Redux and we're damn glad it's available. Largo above was completely wrong in their evaluation of the product. It's liquid glass! Now, if you'll excuse me, I just got a call from the International Space Station asking them to put my car back in the garage because they are concerned about the reflection.
