Updated 8/7/20. I have been praising the PleXdisk BD-R for many years. Let's hope that last group was an accident (KK slept at the wheel for 1 game). There were 12 discs in this group with visible defects (ie horizontal stripes) and these discs were found to be either unwritable (10) or recorded at very low speed (2). The severity of the visual spots corresponds to the problem. I will be ordering 50 more packs in the future but if I find the same problem I must assume a downward trend in the PleXdisk BD-R quality. I still recommend PleXdisk as I hope this is a one time issue. My advice: when you receive your 50-disc package, visually inspect the recording surface. Streaks = coasters. Previous Review: I've been using these discs for about 4 years, with very few "pads". Most of the crashes are due to my mistakes using Burn Aware (not their fault). I have noticed that I have more crashes when using my LG Burner than my Pioneer BD209. Pioneer also reads and writes faster, by the way. As for durability. Drives burned 4 years ago still work fine. These drives seem to be getting a bit more expensive (by a few dollars) but still seem like a very good deal.
