I recently bought a full size home theater projector. a mini projector with a special tripod screw, which came in handy. When I unpacked my new projector, I found that it didn't have a special screw. So I looked for ways to mount it on a tripod. I first found a few records that weren't worth the money, then I had the idea of buying a projector ceiling mount and after a few modifications, use it with a tripod. To be honest there was only 1 modification: 1 bolt and 1 nut. I unscrewed a bracket and mounted it on a tripod with a hole. Turns out it costs half that of a tripod stand. Good thing I can still use it as a ceiling mount. For the price you get 2 devices, a tripod and a ceiling mount. Highly Recommended
