I like the hook, it's very strong, but it's only held two barbecues. I've hooked a piece of pork ribs several times, but about the 10th time I've picked up a piece to put on the grill, the hook twisted or turned under the weight of the ribs. It appears to be held in place with only glue inside the handle, which was enough for two BBQs. So I started using the 2nd hook and that lasted about 4 BBQs but basically it was the same. I love these hooks but the glue isn't strong enough to keep the hook from rotating. I can still use it but it's so hard to turn every edge. If they redesigned the stem glued into the handle to have some sort of bar to take the weight off and rely 100% on glue I would buy again. . . but until then I cannot recommend this product. I have two hooks in my grill box that I can only use for chicken or sausage. . . dissatisfied!
