Suction cup works great, easy to adjust. In addition, it is very durable. He also attaches the mug to the plate with a stick to place a suction cup on it. I will probably buy one of these for my other car. *edit* I bought another one for my other car. It will not fit the SUPV1 mount without modification. A plate screwed to the bracket covers the power and audio output connectors. If you have a Dremil tool, this is a quick and easy fix. It's still a great mount (I've bought 3 so far). I've cleaned the windshield and suction cup to no avail.
