I was looking for a lightweight travel binocular that would easily fit in a backpack. They were recommended by Wirecutter and the price was good. So I bought it and am very satisfied. While not as bright as my 8x42 pair, they're surprisingly bright. I like that there's almost no distortion at the edges. The focus wheel is stable and secure. The eye relief is higher than you would expect from compact binoculars. Although slightly heavier than some, they are comfortable to hold without causing hand cramps. Very happy with this purchase!
