While the finish is impressive and the look and feel feel immediately good in actual use, I found it lacking. Supposedly the lever lock links can't be tightened enough to actually "lock" without tools and the Allen screw size is too small to use. The plate that fits the phone holder can't prevent it from slipping when you tilt the controller, so your expensive iPad or whatever can easily slide out and fall to the ground. All this simply did not inspire confidence after assembly.
