I was hesitant to buy this mainly because of the cost but I needed something to keep my door from opening too wide. My litter box is in our attic. The previous owners liked using the shellac so I wasn't sure if it would take off. I sanded the door to remove the shine and glued it on and so far it's holding up well (only a few days). I don't really care about the door so if it comes off I'll poke it through the door. It works for my purpose, just trust it should cost a few bucks less.
