I'm obsessed with specs and nobody touches my bikes without a torque wrench. I weigh 160 pounds, and while there have been no catastrophic failures, I did find a few ugly cracks and dents when I recently stripped everything out to upgrade cables and the like. I'm going to buy a branded aluminum handlebar today and save up for a branded carbon handlebar in the future. As many have said, this is crap. The older I get, the more likely I am ready for the Boom, which will explode at a respectable 50 mph. I've bought a lot of fake Chinese bikes over the years and now I'm ready to stop. If you're worried about the price, go with aluminum. If you want reliable jewelry, you have to pay. Just my 2 cents but you make yourself.
