Review on 🛠️ Efficient NGFF M2 to PCI-e Adapter for BTC Miner Mining - 2 Pack with M.2 2260 2280 SSD Port, M Key, and PCIE Converter (White) by Joseph Reed

After struggling for WEEKS with a faulty PCI slot on my AS Rock B450 motherboard (running Ryzen 2700x) (it took me a long time to isolate the problem), I installed this m.2 adapter afterwards on the PCIe one of my equipment. I didn't really know if this would work as I've heard several stories about Windows not recognizing cards connected to these adapters etc. Let me start with the worst part of the setup: SMALL SCREWS. I ended up losing the small screw that came with this one (I pray it doesn't get lost somewhere on my motherboard, but no shorts yet!) and I had to use one of the original small screws that came with my motherboard . Remember you will need to connect it to a 4 pin molex connector, luckily I just used one of the daisy chain molex cables that connect to the riser. When this thing fires, it emits intense white LED light. I then connected my GPU to the port via an adapter cable and to my surprise Windows recognized the GPU immediately and now everything works for a while. I just stopped using the faulty PCIE slot and the setup was stable and chugging for weeks. Suffice it to say that it's EXTREMELY handy to have with you if you're doing any type of mining. For what it's worth I only replaced the 6th PCIe slot and didn't add a 7th card alongside the 6 already on the board. I don't know yet if adding a 7th card will work with this method, but I suspect it depends on your phone and which m.2 slot you will be using. For example, my ASRock B450 has an m.2 slot that disables the 4x PCIe slot (which was broken on mine anyway), but it has a second m.2 slot that doesn't share lanes with any of the PCIe slots . In short, it might take some play if you get beyond the board's built-in capabilities, but I'm so glad I had them on hand to get things running smoothly again. A must for every miner!
