This is the third brand of canisters of this type that I have bought. This set is the only set that allows me to take the canister out of the cupboard without the lid slipping off and the canister falling to the floor before I get to the counter. Due to the height of the shelf they sit on, I usually grab the top of the canister and the lid when picking one up. With others, I noticed pretty quickly that the lid started to slip. Like these, they should also be airtight, but apparently they are not. This set is sealed and the lids stay in place until you press down on the center of the lid. These are my favourites. I also like the little thing on the lid that allows you to hang the lid on the side of the can when it's open because I don't have a lot of storage space.
