ALWAYS try the cheaper route first!
I was about to buy another laptop when mine stopped charging. I first replaced the battery but it still wouldn't charge. So I decided to give it another try, bought this charger and prayed for the best (fingers crossed!). Luckily, it FULLY charged my laptop (in a short amount of time) and stayed charged. I was relieved that I didn't have to shell out extra money for a new laptop, even though mine was fine. I'm definitely glad I took the cheaper route.
