Great Tool for the Hunt - GPS, Finder and Accessories

Here are some examples of South Mnt. Gamelands in North Carolina as an example of different strata. The first image is an enlarged hybrid satellite image with superimposed topographic lines. The second is only topographical. Only the third satellite. And then a reduced hybrid map of the same area. It takes a while to figure it all out but wow what tool to use for hunters. You can get away from the crowds and not just walk around but go to specific functions where the big bucks are hanging. Great tool! I downloaded this to my Garmin 66i so I can be mobile without cell service and put pins to see who the landowner is on adjacent properties in case a deer comes onto private land after being shot. However, if you have good cell phone coverage in your area, your cell phone's GPS will turn your phone into a really powerful hunting tool. If you can see satellite imagery of the Woodlands, you can see the dots and fingers where the big bucks are going. Once you know what the satellite looks like, you can determine what type of vegetation is in a given area. For example cattails are very different and oaks look different than cedars. After doing a little research, using one of these drones is like drone over an area, except you get to see the deer themselves. There just isn't enough detail for that, but the boats can be seen with wake behind them. Again this is a GREAT TOOL and at $120 it really is a steal as it takes so much gas, time and energy to see what you can see on the Onx in minutes. I can't say enough about this product and if you live or are traveling across the state line you can upgrade to the national plan for around $40-$50 and have access from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Try it, I'm sure you'll love it!
