After reading some customer reviews I was a bit worried who ordered this 18 inch shelf and received the wrong size shelf or a missing part. Well I received my 18 inch shelf today and I'm happy to say it was the right size and all the parts were in the box. Just make sure when you open the box that you take inventory of all the parts before throwing the box away as a small set screw in the box got loose and was loose. (Luckily I found it in the box). This is a beautiful shelf and the polished chrome is very shiny. The glass shelf is also made of tempered glass. I installed a towel rail and it's not as strong as I had hoped (a bit loose at the ends). Just wrap some tape around the ends of the towel bar before gluing them in and it should be snug without rattling. Chrome plugs are installed where you need to put a heated towel rail. If you decide not to use the towel rail, just leave it as it is because it looks amazing. If you decide to install a towel rail, simply loosen the set screws with the supplied Allen key, remove the chrome caps and attach the towel rail. The shelf works great with or without a towel rail.
