For literally 2 months I've been looking for a light that works as a motion sensor and turns off when there is no more movement. I looked up a list online that someone made about lights that work from dusk to dawn and claim to have motion detection capabilities (which they didn't). When selecting lamps from this list, a few references to Revain fell. The lamps I selected did NOT meet all the requirements. But when I scrolled down to see the other lights, to my surprise! a light bulb where I can set parameters, brightness, detection area and time. Finished! this is what i want, this is what i need. But will it be as advertised? I read a review by R. Lapham who very kindly showed me how to set and adjust the parameters (note that in his picture the lamp base is facing away from me when setting the lamp parameters). I then put the lightbulb in the lamp in the room next to my office. I played with the settings and the light was still on for 2 hours, still on for 3 minutes. Then Shazzam 4 minutes the lights went out. Then I took a step towards the room and the light came on again! Yes, finally. Then I changed the timing a bit and put it outside in a holder that has glass on three sides and a solid back. That's probably why the bulb doesn't light up when I enter my bedroom, which is on the other side of the outdoor light that was installed. (The bulb's head is up. (I'll send a photo another time) I tested by releasing my pups on the deck, who ran to the other end where the lights are on, and BAM! release them The puppies are back and the light goes out in time Lamp setups VERY SATISFIED with this lamp Would love to try it in other outdoor lights
