Review on MikroTik Dual-Concurrent Access Point: hAP ac Lite RB952Ui-5ac2nD-US by Asahi Akio ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A high-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

About five years ago, I bought the 951G model for the office as an experiment to replace the old PC-gateway on Debian. From then until today, all interruptions with the Internet in the office were only from providers. Since that purchase, they have already been purchased for various needs: 951G - at home, hAP AC and several hAP AC Lite - for acquaintances and friends at home. Several hAP AC Lites were purchased for the needs of a small hotel. 951Ui in conjunction with multiple access points cAP lite - for seamless roaming in a large private home. Most recently, we purchased the most budgetary hAP lite for distributing guest Wifi in a small office. None of the above products have ever failed. Everyone who uses them has forgotten what it means to "restart the router". If we talk specifically about the hAP AC lite model, which is used in a mini-hotel: there are six of them. At the moment, the uptime of each is about six months. Actually, the same six months ago, I restarted them for the last time during the initial configuration and ating of packages. This is despite the fact that guests use wifi mercilessly, and the entire available 2.4GHz band is clogged with networks. Complaints were received only once - when I forgot to pay for the Internet. Total for hAP AC lite: a very stable box, despite the fact that from time to time completely opposite opinions slip through the reviews.

Pros
  • It makes no sense to paint what has already been said a bunch of times. For me personally, the advantages are in the price / quality ratio, stability of work, rich and flexible functionality.
Cons
  • So far I haven't been able to find it.
