After looking at many scratching posts I found this one to be the best. I definitely love its looks and practicality - your cat can access all parts of this apartment without making huge jumps. Now for my little thing about this tree (2 side, 1 main tree): 1. Screw heads are visible after mounting on this apartment. 2. The apartment looks a little smaller than in the picture. I would say this would be ideal for kittens or a 6-7 pound cat. Check out these sizes. 3. The fabric on them is very thin (despite its plush appearance) not at all like the normal carpeting used on these trees which have a solid backing. This makes the flat almost feel hard when you feel it. Even if your kitty decides he likes to scratch fabric and not sisal rope, this flat will have a very short lifespan. I would definitely give three and a half stars.
