I took these out once for a hike in snow. Worked well. However, not sure how waterproof it is, since the snow I was on wasn't need.One little gripe is the top clip to tighten on the legs is not an easy "pull and hold". It needs an extra minute or 2 to tighten.
Pros
- These are very good for the cost. Great fit.
Cons
- Keeps slipping down because the belt at the calf has no grip ie no way to tighten it as much as you want
