Can't understand the new flip drying method

We have an older version of this method and our kids (5 and 2) love making figures. The old one is a bit difficult to get the mold off the tray after you've sprayed it and it's dry - you have to use this knife to scrape it off and it takes some skill, but we were able to get it working. We just got this new version and they changed the way it works. Instead of spraying it onto a tray, letting it dry and scraping it off, you probably spray it and then flip it onto a separate, flatter plastic tray to dry. I say "apparently" because the instructions are presented as images only, no text. I understand the value of providing people in multiple languages or something, but it's very confusing. Should I turn immediately after spraying or wait a while? I *think* it's simple, but to be honest it's hard to understand. Our son made the mold, we flipped it. and half the beads remained on the original tray, so now everything was broken into pieces, some on one tray and some on the other. In the end we restored the mold to the original tray and just let it dry there, which was clearly not our intention. Maybe this new system is better but if so we need to figure out how to do it and it would be much better if Aquabeads had clear instructions. Apart from that they still love very much to create forms, and we want it to work, don't give up - they're having a lot of fun! It is difficult to understand.
