The internal parts of our original shower head appeared to be broken resulting in the water jet running at full speed and the hot water running out fairly quickly. We wanted to find a shower head with a good balance between gpm and pressure. I wasn't planning on taking an old shower head and removing the pressure regulator like a lot of people seem to want to. In the morning our hot water ran out so quickly that one person didn't have enough hot water. We ordered this one based on its size and pressure/water type. In the end it turned out perfect. We only have 1/2" pipes at home, not 3/4", so we didn't have "much pressure" to work with, but we wanted to try this one. The past week has been great. I did not remove the regulator as an option as instructed and you can see in the video the different water outlet styles you can get. So, in the video you can see how the shower head comes directly with the pressure regulator. Installation only took about 30 seconds. Very simple and clean looking. We'll probably leave it in the middle position, which puts a lot of pressure on our 1/2" hot/cold water lines.
