Just bought these and a pair of 3/4" for aquarium work. The description clearly states that they are for the assembly AND disassembly of plumbing components. They clearly CANNOT be used to fix the To facilitate disassembly", they are useless for this purpose and more difficult to disassemble than to reassemble. I had to take some parts apart and that's the main reason I bought it. waste of money.
