I immediately regretted purchasing a replacement Magic Trackpad 2, so I returned it. The trackpad does not provide any smoothness in any of the motions that it gives. In addition to that, the sound of a wheel shaking when the vehicle was making lateral motions was highly irritating. It may appear that the mouse is silent, but in reality, you are continually distracted by the dangling of this wheel (it also gives it to your hand; I checked it with three coworkers, and it's the same for everyone; after I informed them about it, everyone began to notice it). It is not something I would recommend for Mac, and certainly not for iPad. It is possible that it will come down in price for Windows, but I did not discover any advantages over a standard mouse when I used it on a PC. The mouse is obviously getting way too much attention, and it is not deserving of that focus. As an aside, the Chinese version will soon be available, and there will be an issue with the guarantee.
