My husband and I are renovating our first house and can't afford new windows this year. We decided that we absolutely needed curtains in all rooms to keep drafts out. Bought a total of 12 rods between two lengths and they are perfect. The smaller poles come with two hooks and the larger poles come with three for extra strength. They seem to be holding up well, but I'm concerned that the heavier black curtains might weigh them down too much. The time will show! As many reviewers have pointed out, there is plastic on the inserted bar that can be a bit tricky to remove. I just decided to sit down and spend a few minutes removing all the plastic before we installed it and it was quick and fairly painless.
