Rusted immediately

I make clay sculptures and often need an extruder. I had to buy a Play-Doh extruder. The sound compartment is so narrow that I have to roll the sound into a narrow tube to fit it. Then you have to turn the handle so that it pushes the clay out - it's exhausting. The threads on the piston rusted almost immediately.
