My name says it all. First pull down the power switch, then it will open and you insert a AAA battery. Close it, turn it on and it's SO quiet! At first I didn't think it would work because it was so quiet. Nice! Now for cutting/trimming, works SO great! Who knew you would grow so much hair in places you don't need it! I also used it on a mole on my arm near my elbow and it removed that hair painlessly! I usually use a razor and there is no pain or cuts with it! You will also receive tweezers and a different type of needle. And of course a small cleaning brush. It's very useful! And great price. Love it!
