I installed a new circuit in my garage and my workbench had extra room. I'm always trying to find an AC adapter plug to charge my phone, BT speaker or even tools (yes, tools are starting to have USB charging ports. Crazy). So I figured I might as well install a second outlet while I was at it and plug one of those into a two-gang box with a standard outlet. My only complaint is that it leaves very little room for wiring behind the outlet. If I were to do it again I might use a 3 letter box so I have some room for the wire. But it turned on well, both sockets work properly and supply enough power. And there's something about it that just looks good.
