The shirt is very cute but it is tight and runs small. You can say it's ready after 1 wear and wash. My daughter is 8 years old, she is thin and a bit tall for her age. I usually buy the large size (10/12) and it always fits her perfectly. It is a size 12 and fits snugly under her armpits and shows her stomach when she raises her arm(s). I gave 1 star because there was no option to exchange, only return and redeem and you are charged $3.xx for USPS shipping and you have to wait too long for the seller to refund you. I sent it back the same day and 5 days later still no refund. 😕 I would recommend ordering directly from the French Toast site and increasing the size by 2.
