Pros below: Read and write speed, volume, low price per gigabyte (noticeably lower than most high-speed flash drives and lower than smaller external SSDs), When connected to USB 3.1 Gen2 with a bundled cable, the speed is almost no different from SATA-3 SSD (tested by CrystalDiscMark ). Two USB 3.1 Gen2 cables included. Got cons: The cables are short and from the back of the system unit to the front are very short, and there is no USB 3.1Gen2 on the front panel in the vast majority of PCs, even in the top ones of 2022. I didn’t come across separately sold USB 3.1Gen2 (10Gb / s) wires either, so I have to either climb to the port on the back panel of the motherboard every time, or connect via USB 3.0 / USB 3.1Gen1 (5Gb / s) and put up with slightly reduced speed.
