As other reviewers have said, hard to get it to stay solid and stay square on your tree. Make sure you have a plan for it. We came close to driving a nail into the top of the tree to thread the wire through before finally getting the topper's spool to effectively hook into the small ridge left by the broken branch. We had a dark spot in the middle. one of the shards of glass that suddenly jump up when burning. Disappointed for sure. For the price, however, it's an overall good addition to our tree. The light is stable, the colors are nice (we have red, green, gold and blue - wish there wasn't blue but not purple like in the picture) and it's durable enough as long as you clip it there. I'd say it's clearly too fragile to withstand a fall (from any height) so make sure it doesn't.
