This device works as advertised and is the easiest way to add another CD/DVD drive to your computer.
I bought this unit to add a second CD/DVD drive to my computer. In my opinion this device is worth the money and much easier to install than those that need to be installed in a PC. In general I am very satisfied with his work. However, anyone purchasing this device should be aware that performance will depend on the type of USB port you plug it into on your computer. This device is designed to be used with a USB 3.0 port for optimal performance.
