The PictureMate Deluxe Viewer Edition takes the personal photo lab to the next level by making it even easier to view, edit and print glossy 4x6 inch photos. It measures 6 x 10 x 6 inches (HWD), weighs 5.5 pounds, and has a handle. The Deluxe Viewer Edition is also battery operated. Setup is just as easy as the original. Simply insert a six-color cyan, yellow, magenta, black, red, and cyan ink cartridge into the slot on the back, load photo paper, connect the power cord, and you're good to go. Print from your camera, an external CD or ZIP drive, a USB flash drive, or any type of memory card, although you'll need an adapter for miniSD cards and some memory stick formats. To print from a computer, you just need to go through extra steps to connect with a USB cable and run the automated installer. You can also add the optional Epson Bluetooth Wireless Print Adapter. Each photo lasts between 1 minute 19 seconds and 1:45, whether it comes from a computer, memory card or camera. The Deluxe Viewer Edition is also waterproof and smudge-proof, even immediately after printing, and costs only 29 cents per print. It's a kicker now, it's cheaper to print them at Sam's Club for 12 cents a print, so I only bought this because I can take it to the landfill and print what I need, when I need it. I send my other photos to Sam's Club or even Wal-Mart for almost the same price of 12 cents. It's more of a persuasive thing for me. I bought this mode for only 24.99 from Target where it used to sell for 199.00 but it was on super sale. You have to weigh that up, convince with the price or what the wallet can handle. Sometimes it comes in handy for me and the prints come out great, so it's an attraction for people on a budget!
