It's a serious knife
I've always used Henckels and Wüsthof knives in the past, but I needed a new paring knife and wasn't thrilled with what the two companies were offering. I've looked closely at Japanese knives, but after reading the reviews I was a bit skeptical - either they don't hold up sharpening, or they're so brittle that they chip or the tip breaks off. Time will tell but for now I'm very happy with F. Dick. It is razor sharp and very well balanced.
