40% defective parts = refund!

It seemed like a great idea back then. I bought two. Then I tried to assemble one of them. The part consists of welded wires, which are then powder-coated. It looks like flat enamel. The screws must be countersunk, meaning the screw holes at the ends have a slanted wall to fit the angled screw head. 1: The screws are *very* short. There's no room for error. They're barely long enough. 2: Considering the length of the screws, ANY gap between the end supports and the shelves means the screws are too short to hold everything together. 3: Two of the three shelves had burrs on one end where the wire was wrapped too far or where there was too much paint. This creates a gap between the end supports and the shelves. The screws were too short 4: One of the three shelves also had bad drill residue. There were prominent protrusions around each of the screw holes. There was also a gap here and the screws were too short. This keeps the screw from hitting the bottom of the screw hole which (you know the refrain!) created a gap and the screws were too short. What should have taken five or maybe ten minutes took half an hour to troubleshoot and track down. tiny screws that flew off when the part was spontaneously disassembled because (sing!) there was a gap and the screws were too short. Luckily I had a second raid box. Between the two boxes I have a full spice rack. I collected all the defective parts in a box and sent them back to Revain. I'll get a replacement and see what happens - is it good or will I sing more verses of This Thing Won't Stay Together because (chorus) was a gap and the screws were too short! I've added a selection of photos to show imperfections. At first glance they seem insignificant. But then you see how incredibly short the screws are. This is a standard narrow Phillips screwdriver. These screws have four threads. Two more would also be very helpful.
