Have used this 2" clutch several times with no problems. The specs listed here are a 2" drop or a 3/4" rise when rotated the other way. It is rated for a 7,500 pound GVW trailer weight and 750 pound maximum drawbar weight. While these are hitch specifications, each vehicle has a different rating which must be equal to or lower than the hitch rating. Be sure to check these numbers to ensure proper tow safety. My main use case for this was an older 2001 Land Rover that needed to lower the hitch a bit and remove it from the bumper. 2 inches was the perfect amount of slope for this without sacrificing too much to keep the trailer level. The addition of black color made it very comfortable in my receiver. Although the recipient may have a very small amount of rust. When installing I have to push it a bit to get it all the way in. It shouldn't come off very often, so that's okay with me. I would have preferred it to be a little tighter rather than rattling all the time. The hitch ball and attached parts are of decent quality and have not had any corrosion or rusting issues so far but time will tell. The screw holding the clutch was tightened correctly right out of the box, but this should still be checked. Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality hitch to tow their toys.
