I bought my first one and just couldn't get it to work on my main laptop. All I got was either a blank window or a message that no camera was connected. But it worked fine on the duplicate laptop and even the older one. Everything we tried didn't work. The seller sent a replacement and had the same problem. It turned out to be a resolution issue with my webcam on my laptop. Some apps ask permission to access my camera and I always say no. But as soon as I changed my settings to allow applications to control the webcam, not only did the webcam work in XSplit, so did this device. It seems to provide good image quality for the two events I've used it on. .
