Nut 32mm or 1 1/4". Screw 30mm or 1 1/8". Be sure to lubricate the threads and rotating surfaces and personally I wouldn't recommend a hammer for this job. Much cheaper and easier than in the store. If I could pull the hub out more easily, I wouldn't have to remove the knuckle at all. Overall satisfied and it has definitely paid for itself. Make sure you use the correct size adapter/cone and you will be fine. Hopefully my new bearings will last another 130,000 miles and I won't have to use them for a while.
