Excellent hand wash spinner! Combined with Laundry Alternative's Wonder Wash Drum, this is a complete non-electric laundry solution suitable for RVs, condos, auto camps and any suburban area that is too small or remote to have laundries with running water. With an 8lb capacity, I found it to handle decent loads (5lb dry laundry weight). Wash, wring, rinse, wring. After 3-5 minutes for the final spin my laundry was dry enough to fully dry in a matter of hours. I estimate it hits 700 RPM, which is about half the speed of my front loader at home. You should pay particular attention to the load balancing in the spinner. And - a word of caution - I haven't used it on bed linen or bath towels, only on my (summer) clothes. It held up well for the two months we used last summer and I expect it will last us for years as it appears to be very durable.
