I had my first job as an IT service technician and was using store bought tools and couldn't handle them anymore. The hardware cloning of this drive bay is specific, I took a 240GB SSD with Windows 10 and a blank 1TB HDD. Cloning from A to B took about 10 minutes, but once it was done I noticed it wasn't showing up under "This PC" in File Explorer. I went into disk management and found the disk was offline so all I had to do was right click and bring it online. After that, everything looked healthy for Windows, but a total of 240 GB out of 1 TB was freed and the rest was unallocated. It's not that big of a deal, especially since I know there's some sort of cloning software out there that takes that extra step. In any case, prosHardware cloning doesn't use your computer when you need it. What is there. The drive when in the drive is definitely solid, there is no button to eject the disc. I always turn it off and pull a little. Overall: If you need to work with lots of drives, the 2 drive bay works well enough and should do what you need it to do. If you are unfamiliar with Disk Management, you may encounter problems. Good product.
