I wanted to protect the rear seat cushions in my new car (2022 Hyundai Tucson SEL) with cloth seats as cloth seats absorb liquids quickly and can be a pain to clean. With a 6 year old and a 2 month old baby, chances are high that liquid will be spilled in the back seat! The installation was fine - the ammo is hidden between the seat cushions and backrest (although the seats are designed so you can't access them from the back). The velcro on the center seat is too long and obscures the vent - I decided to move it back and tuck it under the seat back and it seems to have worked. The front fasteners (I'm not sure what to call them - they're not really hooks or chucks - they're sort of an H-shaped springy metal clamp) are designed to be hidden anywhere for extra support . I was able to tuck them in between the bottom of the seat cushions and the plastic seat bottom for extra stability. As long as they stay in place. I would like to point out that when I checked to see if the rear seats could fold, the latches popped out and had to be reinstalled, but this is a minor issue, not a major issue and there is no interference with the seatback drop mechanism. . My package arrived with no instructions, but a quick google showed me what the installation should look like. In general, they are suitable for my purposes - let's see how durable they are. One final note, you retain access to metal clips to which you can attach a car seat or booster seat. For those who are worried about not being able to access these clips, don't worry, you can certainly do it with ease.
