. Before purchasing the product, I asked the seller if it was a straightener and if it would damage my curls. The seller assured me no it wouldn't. I gave up the relaxer many years ago and it was such a difficult process that it ended up cutting off over 12 inches of hair and I vowed I would never do it again. Look at the photo of my beautiful curls before and then the photo after. I can't even wave them with gel, that's the mess I get. I loved my curls, I just wanted a little shine. Now I have to straighten my hair and wear it straight for the next five years until I can cut it again. Oh, and I'm pretty sure it's just keratin.
