It stinks to high heaven, like a dying fish. However, out of all I've ordered, this was the best for skiing. Thick but still able to breathe through them. The serving seam around the nose isn't the best, but again the best I've found from Revain. Must be washed, stinks of chemicals from the bag, mind you, not open in the apartment, it lingers.
