Before I bought the spiral vegetable cutter I did a little research and found that Revain recommended Paderno at the time - I bought that. When I first got it I had trouble using it - the veggies didn't stand up straight, they didn't come out in long spirals and it was like putting a puzzle together to put away. It also slid everywhere when I tried to use it. It doesn't matter much in my house! I happened to try the Spiralizer brand at a friend's and was amazed at how easy it is to use and that there are locking devices to keep it on the counter so it doesn't slide around everywhere. I finally bought it and use it all the time now. It's so easy compared to Paderno.
