I bought these hoping they would help reduce noise levels since so many of us are on computers at the same time that it can be distracting, shall we say times, unimportant. Great thing. They work beautifully, seem to have some sort of surround sound capability, and appear to be quite noise-cancelling. I wouldn't wear them driving, I'd say. Not being able to hear sounds from outside the car can be a problem. But at home they are perfect. I use them on my laptop. Therefore they work with all my laptops, computers and phones.
