I really like this type of peeler. So handy if you're cooking something with apples. I bought this to replace my previous one which used a suction cup to hold it on the counter. I couldn't stand that with the old one, the suction was the only thing securing it to the counter so if it met any resistance it let go easily and it all fell onto the counter. The clamp type of this peeler solves this problem. My only complaint and the reason I gave it 4 stars (would actually be more like 4.5 stars) is that the protective pad comes off very easily if you turn the clip too far and is difficult to fit without a locking ring tool.
