The ideal replacement filter for water filters
So Berkey carbon filters were a nightmare to recharge. There are no problems with this filter and it lasts for years. Light sanding when needed, no soap or mess. They appear light brown to dark brown and lighten when peeled. I have never seen such a difference between an external tone filter and a carbon filter versus a carbon filter. 5 years later there is no end in sight to the Daulton filter, it just works!
- The filters are self-sterilizing and can be cleaned afterwards.
