We were having issues with our satellite TV system and finally decided on a new grounding block that came with these weatherproof covers as part of mine personal effort to replace virtually all factory outdoor cables. It turned out that the receiver itself was failing in an unusual way, so we had to install a new system, which required new external wiring connections in-house to accommodate the wiring interfaces needed to replace the system. The external "node" required for our particular configuration did not come with these grommets, so I bought them to install right after to extend the integrity of every external connection in our system. As someone with years of experience installing and maintaining communications systems, I would definitely recommend them. They cost very little, last a long time, install in minutes and reduce harmful water migration into outdoor cable connections in the vast majority of cable and satellite home television systems.
