Hard to put together, can’t attach top

I bought this desk for my work from home office. The style is great and it does pretty much look like the picture advertised but it was so frustrating to put together. Before I started I made sure none of my pieces or hardware were missing and everything was there. Great! Well, I had to reassemble the cabinet portion because the top did not sit flush. Then I had to reattach the door because it was not flush and no matter how hard I tried it was still uneven. But I’ll live with that. I’ve put together a lot of furniture, so I thought it would be easy, but the instructions are really not clear. The part that really frustrates me however is that even though all the parts were accounted for, the screws that were labeled to attach the top of the desk to the body were not the correct size so the top just sits on the cabinet. Because it is a heavy desk, I am hoping it won’t present an issue, however for the price paid, all the parts should have been there, and honestly if it weren’t already all the way assembled I’d probably return it. Also the cabinet where you are supposed to put your pc in is awkward to reach down into to turn on, hook stuff up etc.
