Does not work properly

Although this remote comes with a wrist strap, it is useless because the REMOTE refused to connect with my phone. I've tried multiple times but it wouldn't work even after restarting my phone and turning off other wireless electronics. Sadly, this just confirms my distrust in wireless electronics..
