This is one of the best cheese graters. I use it to grate blocks of cheese like cheddar, jack and mozzarella. Sturdy metal construction (no plastic). The edge of the grate is unidirectional, making it easy to clean without damaging the cleaning equipment. I assume this will continue for quite a while. This grater is so good I bought another one after seeing how well this one worked. This grater looks like an old Farberware grater that they no longer make. I only needed one more to grate blocks of goat cheese without the risk of cross-contamination from the cow cheese we grate with the Farberware grater.
