I've had at least 5 or 6 of these - 4 motorbikes and 2 bikes. I always had to glue the ball that goes into the socket where you tighten the plastic nut. No matter how I put it on, it spins too easily. The rest of the RoadVise - the part that holds the phone - is second to none. That's why I always have to deal with a weak socket. Too bad they didn't find a way to just permanently attach the 17mm ball to the rear instead of that socket, and that way it was able to attach to a RAM-like clip.
